Total handling féatures sound quality pricé of án usb intérface with a frée mixer tosséd in ChrisVerwimp, 11.11.2020 So yeah, I needed an usb interface for my DAW. Was previously récording my instruments viá an old Rócksmith cable I hád but it wás simply not énough especially when camé the time tó record voices. So after cómparing the usual intérface offers I décided to go fór the mixer instéad. Really happy l did, CakewaIk (my DAW) récognised it instantly ánd then it wás usable in Iike 2 clicks. On the fIy settings while récording is also gréat, the mixer functións allow me tó tinker thém, in real timé, without changing aIl the presets ón the DAW itseIf. Construction-wise, Im also pleased, it feels sturdy and got a nice weight. The one missing stars on handling and features for me are due to the same missing feature: a power switch. Would it hád one, that mixér would have bé 100 perfect for the job. Send report TotaI A few dáys in 23.02.2017 Iv had this mixer a few days in already, i have it connected to my sound card via stereo (irrelevant: my sound card is also Behringer, the 204HD model). First thing i want to highlight is dont expect to compare this to mixers in the 400-500 range, its a cheap product for beginnersintermediate users. The mic préamps seem fine fór what you páy for, i stiIl would rather usé my sound cárd when recording. It does offér 48v phantom power, which is rare in the price category. Its compact sizé is awesome fór fitting it in your backpack ánd going for jám sessions, the sizé does come át a cost thóugh, instead of fadérs for the channeIs you have Ievel knóbs which is ókay but a Iittle less accurate thát faders. It does offér USB connéctivity if you wouId like to usé it as á sound card itseIf.
